I love Sunday's - I mean, everyone does right? I love the laziness of the day.
The slow cozy mornings with a hazy head and heavy eyes. Curling up in the covers with a laptop, phone or maybe a book.
To me, Sundays are the best day of the week. I fully believe to have a good week ahead, you have to spend Sunday preparing for it. I don' mean rushing around getting work uniforms ironed or packed lunches made - sure, do all those things if you need to but take your time with it. What I mean is to have the best week ahead, you have to relax fully on a Sunday so you get it all out of your system before the week. Here's what a typical Sunday looks like for me:
10am:
So I usually wake up quite late on Sundays (and every other day but shh bloggers are meant to be morning people) I like to roll around in the covers and put some mindless tv on the laptop. Shane usually then brings me some tea and toast in bed 'cause he's an absolute babe.
12pm:
At this time I start feeling a little guilty for still being in bed so we get up, potter around tidying up so the flat's all nice and clean for the week ahead, we maybe go get some food shopping if we need to and change the bedding if there's any clean ones around cause everyone loves fresh bed sheets
3/4pm:
I usually climb back into bed as a reward for being slightly productive on this lazy day. I have some tea, biscuits and put on a film or Gilmore Girls whilst scrolling aimlessly through Twitter and Instagram.
~ Lots of tea breaks and episodes of Gilmore Girls, maybe a few chapters in a book if I'm feelin' it and a bath ~
7pm:
Shane usually makes up dinner around this time, so we sit and eat together, I usually tell him things about my blog and he tells me ideas for his artwork or poker strategies he's learnt from the current book he's reading.
9pm:
BIG BROTHER TIME! We curl up in our sheets and watch Big Brother together drinking tea and snacking on toast or pancakes.
Your Sundays sound so nice and relaxing, mine are quite similar to be honest. Lots of Instagram scrolling and reading, great post lovely!

Thank you Ella. Sundays are made to be lazy days! x
DeleteOur Sundays sound pretty similar actually! Lazing around in bed until midday and then spending the rest of the day drinking all the cups of tea or coffee whilst watching cosy films. I really should spend my Sundays doing blog things but nah, sitting in bed is much more appealing haha! x

it really is! So nice to have a dedicated day to wind down and chill out x
DeleteIt's very important to relax on a Sunday in my mind and I do similar things to you. I also always have time for a blogger chat on a Sunday cause I'm not up to much!

Yeah I agree, I think it sets you up for a good week if you relax on a Sunday! x
DeleteBefore I started having to work Sundays, they were my favourite. It was time to unwind, I'd have a pamper and prepare myself for the week ahead. I miss lazy sundays so much!

Aw man! I asked my previous manager if I could have Sundays off and she gave me them off (result!) but now I work for myself so I only work Sundays if I really have to. Maybe you can make a Monday your wind down day or something? xx
