We all have bad days, even if we're usually the happiest, most confident person in the world, we still have bad days. You know the ones where: you don't wanna leave your bed of pain, you want to eat your weight in junk food and you basically flood the house with your tears.
Well, I've been having a few of those days recently and so I've started reciting Positive Affirmations. Positive affirmations are basically a way to rewire your mind: you say them so much they seep in through the cracks of your subconscious and overwrite all that negative self-talk you got going on up in that beautiful noggin of yours.Some people may laugh and say that looking in a mirror telling yourself you're beautiful and that you got this is ridiculous, embarrassing and downright stupid but I think it's pretty fucking daft telling yourself you're stupid or not ready or not good enough (which the majority of us do without even realising it) so I think why not? If you're going to be telling yourself things in your head subconsciously anyway you may as well make them happy, positive things that will lift you up and make you feel on top of the world, rather than drag you down making you feel like shit and ruining your day. But hey, the choice is yours.
I absolutely love these & I don't think it's ridiculous at all! :) My favourite one is number 2 cause it's something I really do believe in - you're responsible for your own happiness & it is a choice you can make every day, even when you feel like everything sucks sometimes x
